A leak from the bathroom had left water stains across the landing ceiling and the paint on the bathroom ceiling was flaking off. Here is how we put it right.

What we did

• Protected the whole bathroom with dust sheets and masking
• Removed the bath panel to check underneath
• Scraped back the flaking paint and made good
• Stain blocked the water marks so they cannot bleed back through
• Repainted the ceilings for a clean, bright finish
• Cut out the old sealant and resealed the bath with fresh silicone
