# Leak Damage Repair: Stain Blocking and Bath Reseal

A leak from the bathroom had left water stains across the landing ceiling and the
paint on the bathroom ceiling was flaking off. Here is how we put it right.

## What we did

 * Protected the whole bathroom with dust sheets and masking
 * Removed the bath panel to check underneath
 * Scraped back the flaking paint and made good
 * Stain blocked the water marks so they cannot bleed back through
 * Repainted the ceilings for a clean, bright finish
 * Cut out the old sealant and resealed the bath with fresh silicone
