# Kitchen Refit in Progress

# Kitchen Refit in Progress: Chimney Breast Out and a New Wall

Here is a look at a kitchen we are working on right now. In five days the room has
gone from the old kitchen to a new wall, first fix electrics and the new units going
in. We will add the finished photos once the job is complete.

## The brief

Our client wanted the old kitchen taken out, the chimney breast removed and a brand
new Howdens kitchen fitted, all by one team from start to finish. See more of our

## What we have done so far

 * Day 1: stripped out the old kitchen
 * Day 2: took out the chimney breast
 * Day 3: built a new stud wall and boarded it
 * Day 4: first fix electrics, with cables chased into the walls and new back boxes
   set, then the Howdens units started going in
 * Day 5: cored the vent holes through the wall, fitted the vent covers outside 
   and started on the worktops
